Product Overview


The FIBARO Smoke Sensor is an optical Z-Wave smoke detector. It signals fire alarm by visual indicator blinking, sound and through Z-Wave control commands. At an early stage of fire outbreak itself the optical sensor detects smoke. Even if there is no fire but the temperature starts to rise significantly it can alert you. It also has an inbuilt temperature sensor, which can be programmed to indicate exceeding set temperature level. The FIBARO Smoke Sensor is designed to be placed on a ceiling or wall. To see if the device is within the Z-Wave network its visual indicator signals fire, operating mode. The smoke sensor is designed to operate under normal conditions (lacking dust, smoke, condensed water vapour), in confined spaces.
